-
-
in the article i believe the guys name is Yamzy and thats his 240SX.
note* it also says it should take 10mins/per wheel
-
so that's pinoys name yamzy... just getting a kick out of it... peace P

what do you get out of this? what is the end result :?
-
Clearance. Most do that if the tires are rubbing the wells slightly.
-
ok, so thats not really the best way to get an even roll all the way across your fenders or q-panels.....
you need 2 people for this
dont use a jack
put the car in neutral.....
slide the bat in the well, to the desired roll and angle
slowly roll the car backwards....the tire will carry the bat along the fender
this way you get an even roll......
-
are there places i can go to get this done? i don't wanna leave mini dents using the first method, and the 2nd method might crack the paint. :?

aww f@ck it i i kept searchin and found it its about $50 bucks a fender... can someone do a exact tutorial on this i would rather do the 2nd method(with out the jack) seems like it would be a lot better...

Go to any local body shop, I don't think it would be that much, plus if they f up, they fix it. If you f it up, it comes out of your pocket

I tried out the baseball bat method it worked pretty well. I needed to roll the fenders a little bit with the 18s and being how low I am.
-
I did this just last week, I used a heat gun (harbor freight 9.99) and a piece of PVC pipe (2 inch) and it worked very well. I dont have a baseball bat so that's the only reason I went with the PVC pipe. No more rubbing. I didn't fold it all the way across, just a nice roll to clear the tires.
here's a tutorial that I used, hence the PVC https://www.thegalantcenter.org/styl...ault/smile.gif:

i didn't know they rented out fender rollers, to be honest i thought only custom shops have em, and you would jsut pay em to do it, but i'll look into it...

hmmm I should see if we have a fender roller where a work and maybe roll em out to go for a more aggressive thicker wheel Im sure i could just grab it during lunch and roll it out quickly
