was wondering if
2000 - 2005 4cyl Eclipse engine bay & mounting points/heights etc
are a match with 03 galant 2.4
wasn't sure if aftermarket front upper strut bar/brace
made for base model eclipse
would work (hood clearance / closure) ?
if not, anyone aware of a source/website
that may have 2.4L 8G strut braces ?

Almost everything from a 3g eclipse fits the 8g, the strut brace should be fine, I use a stock 3g strut brace on my car.

For an 8G strut brace you could try to get your hands on an 8G VR4 front strut brace, as they come with them from the factory. That's another option you could pursue.
Probably not from a 8G VR4, from what I read here before, the usdm length is different than the rest of the world (VR4)
I say the strut brace off from the 3G eclipse will be the easiest and cheapest to get.

Yea that makes sense. I keep forgetting the USDM have a different suspension set-up. Are they closer to a Diamante set-up?
