2005 Galant? - made and designed in Australia
Will it be a Galant badged as a Magna, or a Magna badged as a Galant, or a hybrid between the two?

Whatever it is, Mitsubishi is merging the two models into one, and the local product will be manufactured here in Australia after a major upgrade of the Adelaide plant and a $900M project and R&D centre, and is the car that will replace the current Magna - known in the USA as Diamante(which is an Australian export). Obviously they are going to be exporting as well but the US market will still build there own version.
it will be a longer wheelbase version, and the bullet nose look will be toned down. How much it will resemble the 9G who knows, maybe it will be the 10G.
One thing forsure is that Mitsubishi is looking to unify model names worldwide thus Magna and Diamante will probably dissappear.
and good news for the Aussies, could the Galant become an "Australian" product!.....
"He said that R&D work for US-built Galants would be done in Australia, including variants off the Galant architecture"
