This thread is created to inform and explain what modifications can be done to a 7g Galant. Please post a short explanation and picture to clarify what the modification improves. Please do no ask questions!!! For more info please check out the tutorial section.
Brakes:
Rear Disk Conversion

Proportioning Valve

Dual Piston Front Calipers

Suspension:
96-98 Front Upper Control Arms /upgrade for 94-95 /[/i]

Aluminum Front Upper Control Arms

2g Eclipse/94 Galant GS Rear Sway Bar

8g Galant / 3g Eclipse Rear Sway Bar
http://i232.photobucket.com/albums/e...6/HPIM0262.jpg It requires 8g Galant/3g Eclipse rear lower control arms. Also, it's good to use 1g Diamante rear end links which are made of steel. Stock ones are plastic and pop out easily. Significant improvement over 15mm and allows to upgrade to 22mm Addco or Suspension Technique sway bar. Availability: 8g Galant, 3g Eclipse

5 lug Conversion It will allow you to convert to dual piston front calipers a lot easier /more parts available for 5 lugs/. Also, it will allow to to find more wheel styles with 5x114.3mm bolt pattern.
