Just for laughs since there's no thread over this I decided to post a pic in comparing a GTZ spring (black) and a ES V6 spring (dem red shitz yo). You can make the judgement for yourself.

:O Thats a marginal difference! Didnt think it was that much...
hmm thats crazy! The black ones look like the red ones cut and half and stretched out a little. Good comparison though.
oh wow...if i got eibachs then would it look any different ? because i have a GTZ
the pro kit drops it alot more than i expected^^ more than a gtz's stock dip
ok thanks
Good to see you got the springs Pete, lol.
I didn't thick the difference was that much, even when you told me.
yeah this clears up alot
about time how much are they
Just came across this thread. I think Im going to get some GTZ springs for my ride and see how it will look on my i4(ES) G. Wow, I'm amazed of the difference in length (stock ES springs vs GTZ springs).
wont help much on the i4, the v6 is heavier than the i4 so the springs probably wont give u as much of a drop as u think, i had v6 teins on my i4 and it gave me the same drop as eibachs would, save ur money and just get i4 specific springs, this wouldnt help you at all
Cool, thanks for the quick note QNZ. As I thought about it, I knew the GTZ engine was heavier than the i4 and was curious as to how it would have looked on an i4. For my car, looking to mildly lower (minimizing that front wheel gap) it as its my DD. Also Im looking into getting the Eibach Pro-kit for my G.
Prokit or u can get v6 tiens
here's my i4 8g sitting on v6 Tein S-Techs

and with 18s

not the best pics but u get the idea
Tein S-techs are available also, the difference is virtually none.
I have them on my ES 4cyl, ride is very nice and front wheel wheel gap is no more.
This is Cody's (blue8g) old 8G I4, on Tein S-Techs and GR-2 Struts, And some of the meanest wheels to ever be used on a 8G IMO.

And this is Greg's (Wetamup2k3g) GTZ. Sits lower but still a bit of a gap in front, I think he's also thinking about Tein S-Techs. Again after much time waited for the correct spacers another aggressive wheel combo.

Cool, all the pics of drops looks good. I will try the Eibach Pro-Kit and see how the drop is on that and then the Tiens is the next step. Tiens do look tough though. I know the Eibach springs give you that mild drop. Does anybody has pics with with an Eibach pro-kit drop? I remember seeing G-Spot's drop. Just wondering if other rides had the drop. Again, thanks as I can at least compare to see how mines will look in the future... Being that my i4 "G" is my DD and plus, having 2 kids in the back.
The difference won't be much. It is alot easier to find Tein S-techs than it is Eibach.
Tein lowers F: 1.7 R: 1.3
Eibach lowers F: 1.6 R: 1.4

Why remove dropzone springs, it look great?:102::102:
