Little Bit Of This, Little Bid Of That..
Well, after a year long research here on TGC, Galant Forums, club3G and members, I decided to start on my 5 spd swap. I usually buy 2 or 3 cars a month, I repair and resell so in between all that and I will be doing my swap along with complete JDM front conversion, EGR rear visor, door sills and deleting AC and PS. I'm slowly getting there, one day at a time. This is not something that I'm looking to finish in a week or two, no rush at all.
This is where I will post my progress with the 5spd swap, front bumper and whatever else coming up. So check back from time to time. Everything performed here in this thread was performed by myself with years of experience in the automotive industry. If you try any of these procedures you do at your own risk! AUTOMATIC SHIFTER ASEMBLY IS REMOVED, CABLE THAT RUNS TO IGNITION, YOU KNOW THE ONE
THAT DOESN'T LET YOU PULL YOUR KEYS OUT WHEN IN NEUTRAL. WELL THATS WHAT IM REMOVING.
YOU CAN ALSO REMOVE THIS EVEN IF YOU STAY AUTOMATIC, JUST ONE CABLE, HOOKS UP TO YOUR
KEY IGNITION. THATS THE CABLE YOU SEE IN THIS PHOTO.
