Well i have a set of cross drilled slotted rotors from my 8G gtz V6, And i wanted to know will they fit the 4cyl without having to swap out the calipers to the dual piston ones from the V6?
I had the dual calipers from myGTZ but during the move they must have been thrown away:orangeupset:, BUT i still want to use the cross drilled slotted ones i have.
Diameter is bigger.

dual piston calipers are on model year 1999. it has nothing to do with gtz.
Ok, but will the rotors I have fit my G so I don't have to go spend any money on brakes?
No they will not fit without the right calipers
Now another question, will the dual caliper pistons fit without any mods?
I know nothing, but i'm guessing if you have the V6 brake plates/sheilds and if the 4cyl calipers bolt to the the V6 brake plate then you should be able to use the rotor. But again I'm guessing.
The best thing to do is to go to the junkyard, pull the V6 parts you need, minus the rotors since you have them.

Ok so i got the dual piston calipers and the new ceramic pads and the rotors but now i have to order the brackets and ill have the brakes complete, My question is, Should i paint the calipers and bracket before installing them so they dont rust?
I would. I once left had reman calipers rust horribly. They looked worse next to my painted brackets that were dark grey to match the fresh calipers. Soon they were grey next to red rusted calipers.... ugh.

ok, ill have to buy some paint, I may have some of the color i like which will help lol.
I once read a post "no need to show off stock brakes"
And its true, I would paint them a simple color likd silver/gray or black. Nothing flashy since theres isn't anything special about them.

Yea I'm not trying to show off stock brakes at all, but with the color matching I'm going with is like them to stand out a little bit.
