to answer your question. No.
However, you CAN install the evo viii and ix Brembo's on your car, front and rear, with no modification.
well thanks for that, but one other thing that a friend and i arent 100% sure on is if we use the brembos, will we have to use the evo rotors as well or will our stock rotors be fine?
evo rotors
do we know why the vr4 calipers wont work? i know some of the 240sx guys use that as an upgrade and i believe theyre a bit more economical than brembos
I got brembo's front and rear with 3k miles with all 4 rotors and all 8 pads and lines(not that i needed them) for 450 shipped.
How is the 3000gt setup more economical than that. considering after all the money you've spent you still have your now comparatively tiny rear brakes?
An aftermarket brembo front kit goes for about 1300, and then another 1100 for the rear...
I have the same kits on my car for 450; and to boot, I get to sell my old setup to recover some of the cost
another note... as far as replacement parts goes.
You are going to find a TON more parts for evo brembo's than 3000gt brakes. There are a LOT of manufacturers out there that make pads and rotors for this setup.
For the 3000gt... not so much.
thanks for the advice
Thanks for the suggestions
well the stock master cylinder build enough pressure for the use of both front and rear brembo caliper? i know in the 240sx world, they use 300zx caliper as an upgrade. the stock master is good for only the front upgrade. but require a 300zx master cylinder when using both front and rear.
The EVO brembos will fit a 9G, I believe you have to some very slight mods to the rear, the front bolts up.
You will however need new rims if your running stock, or put a spacer on it (though I wouldn't do that).

caliper double from vr 4 fit, without alterations. The part number of the 213049 front.
On the 8th gen once I put the front and rear brembos the pedal became soft.. Sometime I gotta double triple pump to stop nicely.. I thought I had air in the system, but other members I talk to have the sane problem.. It's to much for this set up.. On the 8th gen that is.. Upgrading to a evo master and booster should fix the problem. Only difference is relocation one of the lines that connect to the cylinder.
U would have bleed that fucker xxxx times to make it right. Is usually the front ones.
paul u need to bleed them all 4 of them to do it right.. you should not have that issue my brakes felt fine after bleading properly they should be pretty taut start from the farthest to the fronts and do each one like 4 or 5 times to be sure..
