picked up a new filter and a short piece of pipe to make a new "no recirculation bung" intake for the turbo. i forgot to take pics of it.
will put them up tomorrow
Wow that looks really nice Stuner.... The video also sounds like your running really smooth. Well goodluck with the setup and hope to hear more improvemets and good results from that setup.
how much hp do u think u have now?
right now i'd be suprised if i'm making 200 hp.Quote:

Bravo man...Bravoo!!! :smt038
Keep doing what you are doing ....very impressive.
Using seth's Youtube account i see... lazy ass
damn very much so interesting and very impressive and I dont know what else what to say you did a very very very good job.....I love it..
Nice Install! But am i to understand this correctly that you are letting windows run your car now?
The Ostrich EPROM Emulator runs the car, he only uses windows to update the Ostrich. So he can make some changes, update the Ostrich, unplug the computer and never have to worry about it again. Or he can leave the laptop plugged in and make changes on the fly while he is driving. Its very slick!
Are you god? lol thats insane man, and so clean, the casual observer would have no idea... Awesome...
Big things being done. Good job man.
does this lose its tune with weather/elevation changes?
not at all,Quote:

the effected variable with elevation changes is pressure.
so weather i'm in new orleans or lake tahoe, the sensor will read whatever pressure is in my manifold.
now, of course since the pressure will be less at higher altidtudes, it jsut means that the ecu will be using a different area of the table for its fuel calculations.
of course the amount of power being made will still vary, but since we're turbocharged, it mainly means the turbo will work harder(spin faster) to make the same boost levels, but once those levels are reached of course the same power will be made.
it doesn't matter if i'm at sea level or on a mountain, once i'm getting 20 psi @ x rpms, and 95* intake air temp. i'll make the same amount of power.
if i was N/A the power level would vary of course cause all you have it the current atmoshperic pressure to work with.
but the tune would't change. unless i tuned for a different a/f ratio and timing advance at different pressures... but of course thats what the factory ecu does with a MAS
Stunr, what engine are you running?a 4g63 or a 4g64?Quote:

john has a 4G63 vr-4 engine with the cyclone itake mani i believe and a 50 trim turbo
here is my mods listQuote:

i'm sure i could get more than 400hp out of my engine w/o any problems, but as long as i'm on the street, i'd like to keep it around there. Don't want too aggressive of a tune in kentucky, the weather is always chaningig around here temps range from 0 degrees to 100.
i just want a year round semi aggressive tune.
i don't want to have to pull timing every summer since the air is hot and thin and vice versa, but i suppose i coudl always just keep a summer and a fall *bin ready for the seasonal changes.
DOHCstunr, i just got my ostrich. where can i iget a bin maker for my set up.can you send me a link where i can have a custom bin file for my set up.
90 gsx eclipse:
91 eprom ecu(done the wire swapping and running a 91 ignitor for the working tach)
i have 510 inj
16g turbo
stock fuel pump
fmic
##########sped density(will have it once the sensors gets to my house)
2g maf in a 1g
i would like these options on the code also:
stutter box (5000-5300 rpm because is still have the 3 bolt :( )
venting because of the speed density
octane reset
revlimit at 7000 rpm(dont want to have it change i know the original is 7500 but i dont plan on getting higher than 7000)
stock idle(750-800 rpm)
i guess you can send me 2 set ups, one for speed density and one for the 2g mass or even the 1g mass set up. i would like to learn on how to do this but i need a made bin so that my car will run.
i looked around and i only found the online maker but it doesn't have anything that would adjust my injector size, studder box, and speed density set up.
im not good with hex. i have ds-map software, moates software and tuner pro but im not familiar with them. can you help me out?
Three Questions
Did you get that lean burn feature working?
How is the learn burn code activated when you are on the road?
Can this be installed before the turbo install? i kind wanted to do this installed and the manual swap at the same to to reduce the amount of times i have to break down the interior and dash.
Noice! You will sure have a ton of fun with flash ROM.
They have "moduals" (programs) for about anything you desire your engine to do. I'm sure even anti-lag, if you so desire...
Very sweet work on the whole set-up if I did not mention it already. It's like Club3G pics!
