Pssh. I ran 10.549 today. In the standing mile. In reverse. Without hitting VTEC.
lol
Great job Rob.
Nice trap man, theres still some time left in her if you can find the traction!
Dude that is amazing out of a stock 4g64. Great job!!! Is your tranny built?
DOPE!!!
Im so happy for you man. Do you know what the car makes horsepower wise and the weight? With that 60ft you still have plenty left in it, with that 60ft and that ET and trap, your doing a good job driving the car. With more seat time it only gets better.
Rob good job bud its weird mike guessed a 12.564 at 112 in your garage and that's what you ran lolz wtf
Thanks guys!!!
No idea on the horsepower but I know it weighs 3030 lbs with like 3/4 of a tank of gas. With the sub + spare removed, the lightweight racing wheels, and 1/4 tank I would guess probably like 2930 lbs, then add 185 for the driver. Here's a virtualdyno graph I did with a recent 4th gear pull, but I'm not so sure it's very accurate because there was a huge spike right around 4800 RPM until I turned the smoothing way up:

Lolz Mikely is like a psychic or something, he should get a job telling fortunes. Either that, or he just knows cars REALLY well
very nice what turbo and psi you was running
Who tuned the car? Im impressed!!
I got a base map from Scot Gray of Road Race Engineering several years ago and have done the AFR tuning since then, but haven't really messed with the timing map. I think it definitely had more potential if I would have actually gotten a pro tune, but I stripped out the splines on the diff a couple weeks ago and will be rebuilding her from the ground up
What turbo do you run?
Ill be coming for your record soon enough lol. So its proven that a 4g64 stock bottom end can handle that much. Interesting.
I'm confused! How did u tear up the tranny when I've seen many stock 4cyl manual trannies hold well over 400hp??
Repeated burnouts, wheelspin until 60+ mph, track launches, and abuse in general over the past 5 years, in addition to occasional bouts of wheel hop? *shrugs* Not really sure.
How many people have you seen make 400hp for extended periods of time on our trans? All the high-power 3Gs I know were having lots of problems with the transmission handling both power and RPM, stripping gears like it was the trans's job. The F5M42 just isn't made for power.
Here's a good thread about it. Scroll down far enough and you'll see how puny the 3G input shaft looks compared to the Evo input shaft:
