I got a set and I love them!
that would be a good upgrade for me since i wasnt planning on jdm heads
you can save yourself $165 if you could get a small can of black spray paint, heat gun, and plastic adhesive... :wink:Quote:

they'll look good on your ride BGR- pics when you get them!
Don't sweat it. I wouldn't do that procedure, either.Quote:

I had contemplated getting these (below), but they cost over $300 bucks and the chrome look is not what I like. I think the front piece is glass, not plastic.

I finally received these yesterday. I can honestly say that these headlights are freakin' bad ass. I love 'em. Well worth it, IMO. I know it's just a clear reflector, but when I had the '02-'03 headlights before, they didn't have this much of an impact on me, and I ended up selling them as soon as I got 'em.
BTW, the small inner pic above (backview), shows another Gen. headlight, possibly the 7G.
I love JDM, High n Low bean!! Can't Go Wrong!!
great buy bgr, i had those when they first came out and i loved them until they turned yellow on me :( i had hids in them so thats maybe y and when i had them i never wanted JDMs but now i have the 2 piece glass so no more yellow for me lol, good luck and post pics!!!
I was thinking about buying those a loooooooooooooooooooong time ago before I decided to go JDM. They are better than taking the reflector out of your stock heads to get the clear corner effect, better light pattern.
their not glass
I gonna do my... my self if I can .. because doing some search I found this

:P has anyone try it yet on mitsubishi headlights
The dumb thing about high and low beam in one bulb is that its not that effective in the dark because it only lights upp long away from you :? With the two housing lamps u got the lowbeam to light up the road just ahead of u then the high beam take care of things way ahead of you ;) But dont get me wrong, it looks good with 1 housing ;)
yeap. plenty of people including meQuote:

damn rich, those look hot. good choice buy.
Thank you. Overall, I'm happy with them. They don't have the little chrome section by the turn signal like the OEM 02-03 headlights. It's all black plastic, except for the main headlight area.Quote:

It's a good thing I bought a new grill along with the headlights!
I'm going to clean up the old headlights and give them away for free to anyone that wants them. The only catch is that they have to pay the shipping cost.
aw crap i was just in sacremento this weekend :(Quote:

I paid $136 for the set of 2 headlights and $45 shipping.Quote:

Here's a pic:

Edit:
spdracr was the first to claim the headlights and is willing to pay for shipping, so consider this offer closed. Thanks.

Well, regardless the G is looking awesome!Quote:

Yep. They look real good. I think the clear reflector makes the light look even better.Quote:

I hope these new bulbs last a little longer.
UPDATE -
I finally got around to upgrading the H4 wires to heavy duty and installed the HID's. The lights are sweets, but the light pattern on these headlights SUCK! I am disappointed in the light pattern. I don't know if it's just the headlights, or because they are mostly black and little chrome or a combination of both. I do know that my old chrome headlights had a decent light pattern and filled everything in front of my car at night. These new headlights, barely anything; looks like crap. I was hoping that once I installed the HID that the beam would look better as the ordinary H4 bulbs sucked even more. :smt012
On a positive note - it looks really good when looking at the car from the front. The LED turn signals blend in even better (with the clear reflector hiding the bulb and the light pattern when it shines through the clear reflector) with the HID and the yellow 880 fog light bulbs give it a nice offset. By the way, for those worried about the rain and HID bulbs, the yellow 880 fog light bulbs takes care of this problem.
waitin on mine.. hope these things don't dissapoint me, especially for a 170 something bucks  maybe one day i can blow more money on some halo projectors...
This is why most people go JDM, the beam pattern is so much better on themQuote:

ive got switch backs i i love them sooo much better than standered bulbs imo
