i was wondering if.......

aye dudes, its time for my 60k maintenance, and im doing it myself except the timing belt shizzat. im curious about the radiator, and how do i change the coolant? can i just remove the white petcock at the bottom of the radiator and drain it that way, then fill it up and let it run for 10 minutes? i dont wanna go all sophisticated by doing a flush. im also doing this in concern that when i bought my galant, it didnt have any coolant in the resevoir at all. its pretty damn hot herre in florida now, maybe manybrews might help me

if you look in the service manual it shows you exactly how the dealer does it. btw if you didn't know the service manual can be found on teh main page of tgc on the how to links...
