Can anyone tell me what is the measurement, from wall to the end of the lip that holds the seal for the balance shaft to prevent it from allowing the seal to be pushed all the way in. In other words, I would like to know is if I put a metal plate inside that seal recess, will I have enough room to screw some small screws into that retaining lip behind the seal itself, which prevents the seal from being pushed all the way through?
