What I did was disconnect the window from the regulator, push it up by hand, remove the upper trailing edge (rearmost one) bolt holding the regulator to the door, and stick a longer bolt in there. The longer bolt will hit against the white plastic piece on the bottom of the glass and keep the window up. It may sit about 1/4" too low, meaning that when you drive you may get a slight wind whistle, but no water should get in. I drove like that for a good two months until I could get a new regulator.

Of the two bolts, remove the rearmost one and stick the longer bolt in there. I found the longer bolt I needed in a tv wall mount hardware pack. Those things usually have a ton of extra bolts and usually they all have the correct thread pitch you need. I have five tv's hanging in my house, all the kits had it.
Hope this helps, good luck!
Ok thanks

You can quite easily find a window motor assembly in a junk yard for 20-25$ just look at the condition make sure it's got plenty of lubricant and no rust the one I pulled worked like new and didn't take much time to fix myself
