    Cleaning the Air Filter

Does anyone know of a optimal time to clean these things? I am using a Injen filter with my CAI. I bought the K&N Filter Recharger for it but I just don't know when should I clean it......

I dunno I've heard anything from 25k to 50k miles, 1 year to 2 years, etc...I guess it just depends on driving conditions. If you live in a really bad dirty area best clean it as often as possible.

K&N recommends 50,000 between cleanings unless you live in a very dusty environment. The dirt the filter collects actually makes it more efficient. all intakes have a sweet spot, especially short rams. So you might want to turn the filter every once in a while. But no hurry to clean it. I just cleaned mine and it had 37000 miles on it.
