Make sure you try to get the turbo exhaust manifold off the evo 6 or 6.5, they are slightly bigger.
Since I was waiting for some parts to finish off my Tein and GR-2 install I decided to test the fitment on the mani....
Looks good. Piping almost matches the stock header pipe...
Can't seem to find where it would hit the starter????
Only thing it looks like I might have problems with is this piping...
No biggie really since those are rubber tubes. back in 2001 there was a recall and those metal pipes where cut and rubber hoses installed. I can either just move them or cut out new longer ones and reinstall them out of the way. So it looks like I won't have any fitment issues with the starter......
I am 90% sure they will fit with no problem. Just won't be 100% till I get my damn turbo in.....can't wait.....turbo now...crave boost

exhaust mani is off of a EVO VIII. Runners are a good size right now since I won't be using the full potential of the turbo anyway. In fact I got to turn it down so low that I have to use a external wastegate....
I knew there wouldnt be any problem with starter Jason, looks good..

Well I am still not 100% sure. I got bored sitting there and decided to do a real ruff test look really. I hate waiting for my turbo....

Okay, im not gonna be mean about this but, I tried it already, I had the stock EVO setup in my car, it doesnt fit. Its not the manifold that hits, its the turbo. The scroll of the exhaust housing scrolls inward toward the block. Take a look at any engine bay of an EVO and you will see wht im saying. the EVO turbo is about 2" away from the block, right next to the block, where our starter sits.
