both versions of the USDM 8G headlights should have the same beam pattern.
I was jus asking myself if the beam effect was different due to the headlight housing.,. I have the chrome housing and its a spread look in my headlights and I remember commenting Maximus on his xenon bulbs and it was more of a circular pattern and he has the black housing.. any truth to this? If so I may need some black housing heads hah
The Maxima's use projectors. Those circle things you see in the nice cars like Maximas and BMWs are projector headlights.

chrome housing... see how the ends of the headlights on the black housing round off before the turn signals and my heads kinda jus glow into the turn signals... thanks for the pic Krispy
those are all stock bulbs in my pic too, except the APC turn signals
thats because black doesn't reflect light like the chrome does.
by beam pattern we thought about how how the light projects onto the road in front of you, not the wat the light looks like in the headlight.

I was on the same page you where.

It is natural that chrome housings will spread the light everywhere. where the black housing doesn't. Black is not reflective. So the short answer to your question is YES.
