not only in cali , i saw of couple of post where peeps complained about it cracking near the gasket maybe coz of the bolts

so besides the outlander intake manifold, is there something else we can put in our 4g64 , besides the oem one

nothing that would benifit anything other than a heavily modified engine.

if you were to bolt on a sheetmetal intake manifold(i'm not aware of any that will fit that head)
you will lose all your bottom end.

What size engine does the 2003 Outlander have which the intake manifold can be used?

To do the swap, is there other parts besides the following I will need:

    manifold
    thorttle body
    fuel rail
    FPR
    ALL sensors
    support bracket
    throttle cable
    egr lines

And where is the best place to purchase these parts? Would you use a junkyard or not?

Any help and opinions are much appreciated. Thanks in advance.

does anybody know if the injecters are different sizes between the outlander and the galant? I used the outlander ones but was curious if i should hold onto my galant ones in case one of the others goes bad but if they are different sizes i wouldn't be too. any help would be great, thanks.

they are the same injectors size and CC so you can keep them if you want extras "just in case". i have a whole section of my storage set aside for "just in case" stuff lol.

how do you like the new manifold?

i think the new manifold is great. i can tell a difference from the galant to the outlander. i didn't change the throttle cable at first so i had that play in it and after a week or so switched over to the outlander throttle cable.
