    Fans and radiator

Car overheated today, pulled off and coolant was leaking. the condenser fan was ripped right off the motor. this is the plastic fan, not the metal one.

can the condenser fan be replaced, or do i have to buy the whole unit?

my earlier post sounded a bit confusing, so i cleaned it up a bit. hope someone can help, need to order it soon. coolant leak is a separate issue, looking for some input on the fan.

    thanks.

I just took a hard hit in the wallet. They want $1163 for a new radiator/fan sasembly install. now i looked up the radiator on summitracing and found it for $220, i'm having a hard time finding the fan assemblies. Can someone recommend a decent price unit for this car? I've got dual fans, the radiator and condenser.

also, is replacing the radiotr something I should consider doing myself? my skills so far involve oil changes, brake work and tune ups. would i have to get a radiator pressure gauge?

Get to the junkyard. Replacing a radiator & fan assembly is not that hard.
