    ^^^Runs smoother than the other G that has a 157k and outlander mani swap

    She could use a tranny flush though...

    As recommended by Mitsu Dealer, Dont flush after 100K miles on tranny. It will do more harm than good. Drain & Fill is all you can do at this point. I actually just bought some Tranny fluid 2day to drain & fill mine, along with fixing leaking pan...

    '00 have 84k miles on it, I've put 30k on it since I bought it.

    I flushed mine at 118k and have not had any problems.

    Same here.

    isn't the flush just draining completely and refilling with a filter change or is there more to it....@ Mitsu.

    the mitsubishi dealer or any other shop uses a machine to flush out all the fluid and any other particles that would be in the transmission.i don't think they change the filter.

    ^^ Correct, if you ask them to change the filter they will extra of course.

    But how does it differ from a drain and refill?

    i prolly got the most 00' es 213k, no problems except for the timing belt goin out at 206k

    not sure how it is different from a flush, but even my shop wont do a flush on anything over 100k, espeically if it wasn't done every 30k since the car was bought. the tranny went so long without a flush that it relies on the built up crap I guess. You could mess it up.
