Im trying to find a DC strut bar for my 99 Galant but the only one i can find is this one for a 2000-2004 eclipse http://www.wesellcarparts.com/store/...idproduct=3874. Does anyone know where i can find a strut bar to fit a 99 galant?

2000 to 2005 eclipse 4cyl and V6 strut bars fit 8G. Suspension too.
will it with with a 6A13 in it?
thats the trouble I'm having The VR4 OEM strut bar has a hump in it to clear the throttle body
maybe I should just make a bracket so it will fit?

IT will not fit because the VR4 strutbar is too short. It will fit one tower but will not go all the way across, too short.
Different chassis, and like Raz said, its too short to span the strut towers.

What do you mean no other strut bar will fit?? We just told you that any strut bar made to fit 2000 to 2005 Eclipse will fit the galant, are you dense??
I think he's saying that other strut bars won't clear the engine that he's swapping in.

isnt the 6A13 engine the vr4TT engine? So far, no one has done that swap yet.
It is the VR4 engine, and he said he's swapping it into a 99 galant.

Lets see pictures of the engine?? You're going to swap a VR4 engine in your USDM Galant but cant figure out what strut bar will work??? Sounds retarded. I want to see pictures of this engine next to your Galant or in it.

he has it in his mirage. i know what he is talking about. the 6a13TT needs the hupm in the strut tower bar to clear some parts of the engine.
and trust me the vr4 bar doesn't fit perfectly in the 7G either, there is a littler triming needed on the hood skeleton.

Dang that's some tight space in there.
im really interested on how he's going to get the 6a13tt to fit, considering the whole front subframe is wayy different from the actual vr-4's
