I think they do it that way since they are reverse mount. I could be wrong though.

Hi i have a 1999 Mitsubishi Galant and i need to get at least 3-5 negative camber in the rear so my wheels don't rub i have tried everything and nothing works my wheels are 18x9

  5. #385
    What are your wheels offset?

    What is your tire size?

Has the can been aligned since it was lowered?

Have you rolled the rear fenders since installing the wheels?

So where can I rear Camber kit for the 99 Galant any links or brands will help

    Thanks

  11. #391
The rear will camber in when lowered.

    You should do that.

9j +28 has to look super dorky at stock height.

And get the right size tires.

And just search 'camber kit' on here.

Ingalls makes a good kit. Go on ebay and search for it.

Lowering the car to a flush stance is at least a 2.5in drop, with Tein springs lowering the rear 1.3 inches my alignment spec sheet came in at about 2.9 to 3.1 negative in the rear with no camber kits. Simply lowering the thing with coil overs will probably get you where you need to be.

17x9 +35 up front +27 effectively in the rear. Needed an 8mm slip on in the rear because the tire rubbed the arm that goes from the hub to the uppercontrol arm. Going to put some extended lug studs on it probably next week.

The tires is a 255/40/17 Hankook RS3. -3 camber in the rear and about 0 up front. Still need to get her on an alignment rack

BTW, this bitch is running and driving and she is trouble.

how are you liking the rs3's? im looking for some tires for road course fun this season. I was debating between the rs3's or the Potenza s-04 pole position.

255's are where its at! I'm hoping to figure out how to fit a 275-295 front for some epic corner carving!
