If I had the space, I'd definitely look into owning one, you could make so much $$ with one of those. I know so many folks who order from Tire Rack and places online that have to go get their tires mounted. I hope you guys are monetizing the fuck outta that machine !

Rear Brembo setup and stainless lines installed in the rear thanks to Silvertune's random boredom.

    Beautiful setup.

Also I can see why it hibernates during winter, to keep rust minimal.

Thanks Vic. Yeah up here, cars take a beating in the Winter. All the salt dumped on the roads has cars rusting out in no time. With all the money I've dumped into this one, I need to take every measure to make it last.

Just wait til you get a chance to step on the pedal Matt, just sitting there idling it feels way better and the front hasn't been touched yet.

And now with the entire setup installed, the brakes feel nice and solid. Between adding Brembos to the rear, stainless lines, fluid flushed with fresh DOT 4, and the Hawk pads, it should have no problem on Brainerd's road course when the time comes this Summer.

Not to clutter Matt's thread, but here is an MN car that came into the shop a couple of months ago.

    BOOST! Do it up, Matt!

On the left side of the boost gauge it reads vacuum, that's what I'm monitoring with that one lol. Didn't mean to get anybody's hopes up with that one. The reason that exact gauge is in there is that I got it for free. Can't turn down that price.

I have that same boost gauge in the Chevy. Moar eastside love. We haz matching Boost Gauges. Except my car will actually haz bewst!

Troll done. I come to this thread for inspiration. I love you, Matt. :homo:

I actually look forward to seeing outcome of the Chevy. I watched a video a few days ago with an old Chevy truck with a turbo 292. It had a very distinct exhaust tone and was effing fast.

On another note, when your 3G gets its 3.8 liter, you'll forget all about the Bel Air.

Turbo6? Big blue truck? Every piece of that engine is custom, down to the rods. The guy who races it and his brother are both machinists with Engineering degree's. I cant image the hours of R and D that have gone into the motor. It's cool too because the frame and suspension is all stock, albeit modified, but still stock components.

Also, this car is really nice. Given it's a 292 and has a different tone than my motor will, it's still a nice example of what can be achieved. The owner is also an engineer, and runs a company with custom one-off inline parts.

It reminds me of a cummins without the turbo.

Silvertune and I made a yard run today. Wasn't too much going on there, but it's becoming comical to me the parts we now leave behind. XG350 plenums, Diamante plenums, 6G74 fed spec exhaust manifolds, etc. I remember the days, those items felt like striking gold.

Besides leaving those behind, I did end up snagging a small detail that I am excited about. We came across a Galant DE that had all four doors, which resulted in a set of black door trims that will end up on my car. The last chrome item on my car will soon be gone!

Yesterday, I finished wiring up the gauges and they are now installed. Here is the final product. Don't mind the Instagram filter.
