I feel as if the factory HVAC controls stick out like a sore thumb.

Nice going on the DE trims and the gaige layout, I like the HVAC in the middle vs the bottom for some reason
Best part of the deal is that I literally paid $6 for the entire set of door trim.

Man that is a good deal to change the overall look. Probably spend close to that just on paint and painters tape, if you were to paint the chrome ones lol
Finally after a long week of snow and rain, I was able to be productive again.
Started by spraying a few vital trim pieces.
And here they are on the car. The bumper itself still needs a little more work, but it's in better shape than it has been as of late.
As a small side project while I was messing with the Galant, I decided to help renew a few details to the Eclipse.
For any 3G owner, this is the cheapest and easiest thing you can do to bring a little life back into your front end. Gloss black Krylon Fusion rattle can. And here is showing the difference between the repainted and faded fake vents.
And after 45 minutes of dry time, on the car.

awwsome ! :)
Meh.
I am envious of the clarity on the fogs. My fogs are starting to turn yellowish.
JDM effect, bro!
Your grille hides them a bit though, right?

Wonder how long til you get pulled over for a missing front plate. I made it 150 yards.
Thanks Jared! Those pieces have been a life saver for my front end.
Justin, I've made it about 10 miles so far. Took Allie for a ride in it yesterday and it was hooking 2nd gear on demand.

She says it feels way better than it did last year. Had her looking for an "oh shit" handle through the s-curves near my place too

Looking good, I love that Galant License Plate cover. Did Jared sell you his or make you one?

Thanks Greg. I purchased the cover from Jared, along with the bottom center piece last fall.

Nothing too exciting today. Replaced the original ball joints. After 14 years and 158k miles, they have been retired. I was amazed at how easily they came out of the control arms. With a ball joint tool, they popped out without the fight one would expect from a northern car. All that's left before the alignment are inner and outer tie rods.

And with all of the front end parts being replaced and getting everything nice and solid up there, traction has arrived at last. Silvertune and I got together today and went out for a little drive. It's amazing what a good front end will do for a Wavetrac and good tires.

I recognize both those on ramps!
Which reminds me, I need to get my front end aligned. I haven't aired it out much because of the lack-luster alignment.
My car is louder.
The video is betraying. It was my first time getting the GoPro out of the box so it was still in the water proof case... drrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr.
More video to come, with a case that actually lets the sound in.
