So awesome seeing a galant in that group of classic cars / muscle cars. They probably laugh then on the track are saying "Damn, not bad!" lol.

I didn't realize there were prothane support bushings available. I need replace an engine mount anyway, might look for a kit.

Gonna need a set of valve stems sometime soon Matt. Once I'm on winter break here I'm gonna go ham on a few projects and you happen to be on the list.

Best looking car out of the three imo, not even being biased lol

Exactly my plan. It's an easy car to overlook, but once you notice it, business is underway!

Yeah, I gave the Charger a run for the money. I got my ass handed to me on a few occasions there though for a handful of reasons. The obvious power difference, but also my motor mounts were shot, and the RS-3's are terrible tires for the strip. Also the rear of the car is too soft to launch, as it squats badly. I'm hoping coilovers will help solve that problem for next year.

As far as the bushings go, Energy is what you'll want if you already have Prothane. The Energy kit comes only with the front and rear mount, but also includes the cross-member bushings.

It's actually at Powercruise. Same track, different weekend-long event. It's still a blast though.

Awesome! I'll order in a set within the next few days here. Looks like this will bring a nice little update soon to build some anticipation.

Maybe if you're talking about the LX platform cars up there, but the fourth picture, when lined up to get a pass on the strip, I can point out a handful of cars I would rather have in a heartbeat. Primarily that red 'Vette.

I'd rather have the knowledge and ability to do it than the money to buy it already done.

They sometimes fall out. Otherwise they're barely held in and can be pulled off by hand.

Thanks Danny! I must say its been a fun ride so far, being able to hold my own in what's "just a Galant" to most people. Next year will only be better.

Lol yeah the only pic that loaded at the time for me was the one with the lx cars. Now that I see the others, I would hand over my keys for the red vette. Other wise I'd still prefer your car regardless of the others power. I kinda prefer new school muscle over old school in looks, but they're all clean in there own right.

Matt, where have you been hiding?

The car has been 2.5 hours away up north for the winter. It'll come back soon though. Once I have a garage, its on!

Excuses, excuses. It's only an hour and half away for me. Want me to go work on it? I can't guarantee I wont put any stickerz or sweet racing stripes on it though.

I was hoping you could install the neon underglow for me

Funny story there...I actually have some in my garage. Had it installed the first summer I owned my car, back when I was a dumass ricer.

    It's red, too.

    Got bushings?

The entire rear suspension kit from Prothane. These will find their way onto the car when I get it home from storage soon, along with a fully refinished rear subframe.

After last night there is at least 4 feet of heavy snow in front of the garage right. It is as I've always said, glory is not given but earned.

Wholeheartedly agree, spent most of my morning shoveling since snowblower is down.

The snow removal required to get the car home this year will put last year to shame, but it will be worth it. We have a fun trip ahead of us.

Jared, yeah its the entire rear kit for a 2G. It comes with a few extra bushings that the 3G kit doesn't include.
