    Belt squeaks?

Alright, so I've had some major squeaking problems with my car. I got new belts put on about 4 months ago, so they shouldn't need replacing...and I've tightened all of them as well. I typically let my car warm up for around 5 minutes or so before driving it, and I almost never have my AC on, yet it still squeaks. Most of the time, it does it when I'm accelerating from a stop, but it will occasionally happen when I'm slowing down. Advice anyone?
    Thanks!

is it the belt making the noise or the tensioner? i've seen a few cars that the tensioner gets old and rusted and makes lots of noise

I'm not quite sure. I just know that it makes a loud, obnoxious squeaking noise when I accelerate from a stop, but goes away after about 5 seconds.

Tighten your belts more. If you can move it more than about half an inch when you press down on it, its too loose.

Alright, I'll try that. Thank you!
