99 V6 - Trunk Light and Unknown Wire

This is a simple question, yet I am lost in my trunk. Does the 99 V6 Galant have a light in the trunk area? if so where? and I have a a wire connecting with nothing on it, its in the trunk roof near the stop light. Anyone know what this connection is for?

in the speakers look in the chasis ,the trunk light is activated when you open the trunk, if this does not work, check that the bulb is in good condition, if this the problem is in the lock of the trunk, where it contacts the switch, if the problem is there Put an a single switch, so as I did with my car
