Finally found the trunk lip I have been wanting. Not bad for $7.

Im thinking about cutting the posts off so I don't have to drill holes in the trunk.

I take it if you cut the posts you plan to use double stick tape? What about the middle part, seems to curve up and would prevent contact between the tape and the trunk. Looks good though. Especially for 7$.

Yeah, I would have to use double sided stick tape no matter what. I'm not entirely opposed to drilling holes. In the pic the middle part only sticks up because of those posts. The whole thing will sit flat when its mounted.

Also the little tabs on the back don't seem to flow right. Probably going to shave them off.

Gotcha..if your good at body work I guess its worth a shot since you would have to paint match anyway.

Curbed my 18" Enkei rims...

Both front and rear passenger side, about half way around. I was stopped to unload for college and I went to pull forward and I didn't see the curb curve out towards the car a couple inches. I know what I'll be doing next time I'm home.

Got me some super vr4 fender flares, I was under the impression they were oem and clean, showed up not oem, with 2 cracks on 2 flares and a horrible bondo job used to apparently bond them to the car. so off they go to the body shop to get them fixed. Also took my front lip off my ISF to get repaired. Last of all, I'm going back to TE37's on my F. getting them in Formula silver. got them for a good price I guess lol. Bad part....they wont be ready til September. As much as I wanted to get them in mag blue, I don't think it would work on a blue car lol.

Thanks I'm happy with it. Tossing around the idea of trimming the sides to make it only as wide as the trunk lid. As of now it overlaps about 1/4-1/2

". If I do trim it I will have to reshape the sides so it tapers nicely.

For me it would be a tough call cause right now it has a nice transition from where the top of the quarter panel rounds off.

Yeah I have a ebay lip spoiler that kinda overlaped until i bent it in more..so now it only goes a hair past the trunk but ebough to meet the quarter. Even though the ends are tapered its still not as smooth of transition as yours from quarter to trunk.

Also from the side it a little harder to see where the lip ends or begins by it just being the length of the trunk. And by it being low profile and color matched, its extremely subtle. I got a feeling it will be easier to see yours by it reaching closer to the sides of the car and it being taller. So the character it adds won't be overlooked.

If you dont't mind having to possibly repaint, I would say paint and run as is and see if you like before modding.

Good idea. I am getting new lip and still have my g20 side skirts to put back on. Then I will get it painted. We will see how it all looks one color. I will decide once it is all primed before it gets the nice candy coat.
