    Galantman03's 8G Build

I think it is rigged honestly lol an sti that's lowered wheels and tint? Definently didn't put the time into like I did. I think I need to be a club member to win. But let's be honest, my car wasn't even painted and only had half the kit on so I'm happy lol

Yea that says a lot. Forgive me if you've already said this and I missed it, but are you keeping the car the same color?

Personally I'm not a huge fan of silver, but I do admit the color of your rims really make the color scheme pop!

You be quiet! lol I love my silver.
So my goal is to get the car done by May, that is the body kit(which I have to redo the front fender, not feeling it in its current form) and possibly wire up my evo 9 speedo that I have had for like a year. I'm thinking about trailering the g down to denver to get it tuned, but I gotta figure it my spark plugs be shot, or a coil pack went out. She sounds like a subie under WOT lol

No hate! haha just personal preference. What don't you like about the fronts?? I like them a lot. If you don't like the shape, maybe extending them all the way down to the side skirt would make it look more fit compared to the rears?

Car looks great as is. Really interested in what changes you can come up with, cause for me all you need is paint lol. Last month my car ended up sounding like a subie, took it back to the shop I got my dis cap and map sensor installed at incase they needed to warranty the work. I was thinking there's no way they could be bad after being a month or to old, and I was right...plug wire had got worn. They were about 5/6 years old so I said whatever.

Finally got a day to work on the g. Here are the changes that I am doing. I deleted a portion on the side skirts, and filled the ugly hole on the fender, brought out the rear fender so it blends into the body better, filled a body line that doesn't match our car, and then made a body line to match the jdm rear bumper. Took out the injectors going to send them in for cleaning, gotta drop the sub-frame and get that fixed before I can roll around on the huge ass tires (caster and poke issue). From rough measure ments the right tire is out 3/4 inch and back 1/2 inch. SO I have to cut it up and fix where the lca bolts. Ill mock it up and have a buddys shop tig it back together. Also changing my hood setup and doing a retrofit. In about a month Ill have a solid 3 weeks to work on it with no sleep ect, so I should have everything done by the end of may so I can go get the sucker tune on a dyno in denver and then enjoy it car the rest of the summer till I move. here are some pictures

needs some fine tuning, letting it dry so I can take some sand paper to it and get it perfect before I make the mold

I think it blends better this way

I like how it flows into the rest of the body work you're doing, well done.

That does look a lot cleaner, good work. I hear you on the sunroof, I drove some Galants wo one before I bought my second Gtz, and I just couldn't do it. I have two full sunroofs sitting in the garage, just hit me up if you want one of them.

Yepp, I have the whole nine yard: rails, glass, motor, wiring, bolts etc.

Is it really that easy to install a sunroof, how much does that usually cost in labor?
