So last week sunday I went for a drive with no hood, one wide fender on and no bumper haha. Had to clean up the dust from the bodywork, and I wired in a new map sensor (omni 4 bar) and I received my new map from the tuner.
I have been working on the fender for a while, trying to get it perfect.

I then installed the new map sensor, and decided to go for a drive.

The car came alive! it was night an day difference... I heard the wastegate for the first time.
And even though the boost leak test was good to 30 psi, I kept blowing off the couplers at the turbo outlet, and the throttle body, twice at each location, so I never was able to get a good log.

So I ended up beading the couplers with jb weld

and installed some tow straps. these bolt to the frame rails, with the setup that came with the crash bar. This allows me to tow the car without removing the front bumper, and because I have a little ocd, I had to have 2 on the front.

And this is how she sat after the first time she hit 23 or 24 psi.

This Saturday I ended up putting everything back on the car, and just taking it for a spin. After I finally was able to "fix" the boosting issue I was pumped to just enjoy the car. Decided to wash the car fully again, and on the drive there, the car wouldn't go past 10 psi again! WTF... I was so mad... So after washing and drying it, I was cleaning the bay and ended up going over everything that I did compared to the week before, and it hit me. Last time I didn't have the air filter on the turbo. I was like screw it, I took it off, had 2 other people meet me and hop in the car with me and as I left the car wash, I floored it and hit 23 psi no problem. I FINALLY FOUND MY ISSUE! It was the dang air filter. The map sensor was bad as it was reading 50 psi with the car off, but the filter was the fricken main issue for the past year I guess... I never would have thought about that. So now that the car is running great, I will just continue to fit the new rims and tires that I got, because at the current boost I am spinning up to 4th... So I need some grip. Until next time
What set up are you running?

    Thanks Rob!
What setup are you asking about? Wheels? Turbo?

    The turbo is a 6466 v band.
The motor had been bored, custom pistons, longer rods., therefore making it a 2.4 Long Rod which I can rev to 8k or 8.5k can't remember for sure.
The head has been ported and polished with +1 mm oversized valves coupled with gsc s3 cams running on e85.
It has 2 320 lph fuel pumps, -10 AN fuel feed and -8 return, and AN fittings pretty much for everything else.
It has been awd swapped to hold down the power.
24 psi is wastegate pressure, and as soon as I get the go ahead I'll install the mbc into the lines and crank it up to 30 or 35 psi, depending on how much power I can safely make.
4 Injector Dynamics 2000 CC injectors.
    brembos all around.
    wiring tuck in the bay
    27x12x4 intercooler core size.

    Any questions? Lol

I added more info up top, but you need to be specific. I have a lot going on with the car and sometimes its hard for me to remember what is what. And as I type this out I remembered more.
Evo 8 ECU speed density conversion.
Twin disk clutch, can't remember the brand lol
Wavetrac lsd in the Transfer case
    Evo 9 tranny
Aftermarket COP set up with AEM Twin Fire ignition box

I would too if my car looked as good as yours!! I cannot wait to see what the fenders look like completed! Are you going to put mesh or something in the gap between the fender and the body? Or would that get in the way of the door when you open and close it?

Quick question, the "chrome" trim on the lower part of the doors, on you'r first picture on first page, is they standard in USA?
Have never seen them here in EU..
Hard to get hand of in nice condition?
