did he actually remove the plug or just pop off the wire? i would check to see if the plug is loose or if the wire is loose. then go from there

the thing that bugs me is
when i try to start it
the harmonic balancer rotates but the camshaft doesnt.....
i can hand crank it and it all spins....
with valve cover off i can see the valves go up and down too..
but if i crank the car wouldnt it all spin???????
so im stuck...
sounds like something isnt plugged in. the motor does that when something happens to the belt or when a sensor or something is either bad or not plugged in. check all the wires are in the right order, crank sensor on the other side stuff like that

if the cranks spins and the cam doesnt then its pretty clear that the belt is torn apart
