Thanks for all the reply's guy's.

The black skirts on the 8G are stock in Europe. Maybe, in the future, I'll match their color with the rest of the car. It's on the wishlist.

I've got a lot of pictures of the car, but the direct side shots are rare. This is the best side shot I've got:

and 1 of the wheel itself:

By the way: The 8G is already lowered on springs 2 - 2,5". Getting lower will result in problems on entering and leaving my driveway and on speedbumps in the Dutch roads.

I'll write an introduction in the "Welcome new member section".

Those wheels fit the G almost too perfectly.

I know. Man something about the simplicity of this car. Its your car but the thought of color matching the skirts is kinda makes me cringe lol. But its probably because its a common thing over there and foreign over here. So your probably looking for a change as to where I think your car is perfect as is. Looks like it should be the on the cover of a mitsubishi brochure lol.

Can't seem to find those 17" Evo IX wheels anywhere that were on the first page? If someone could PM me the link if you know where to find some, I'd appreciate that.

i love the hellaflush look but i would have went with a smaller tire probly a 225/40/17 for a stretch tire look. still love the look though

Not when your own safety is involved.

    Stretched tyres really aren't that dangerous.....A 225 on a 9" wheel isn't that crazy....

It is in my eyes. There's a reason why the majority of tire shops won't mount small tires on too wide of a rim.

Because their techs don't know what they're doing and will damage the wheels or they don't want the (potential) liability nightmare?

    lol

Mounting the tires isn't the whole issue...it's after the car leaves. If that car has any sort of failure related to the improperly sized tires, and causes an accident, not only will the driver be deemed at fault, but the state will go after the shop that did the tire job and allowed a hazardous wheel setup to leave the shop, and fine them accordingly.

Most of these stretched tire jobs are done on the side, not in the shop on the clock, again...shops don't want the hassle of stupid tire setups, and liability concerns once the car leaves the shop.

a 225 on a 9 can be easily put on and how dangerous can a tire size like that be on a rim like that? its for looks and (no offense) how fast can you really go on a corner with your 8g to make the tire jump off the rim bead?
