Make something up, tell her paint won't stick to black part because of it's texture, I like the black part too.

Also, I forgot to add...I acquired an EGR Visor, but it's cracked. Looking into the best way to repair it, and then respray gloss black.

You referring to the mirrors or the EGR Visor?

The mirrors...the black breaks up the silver nicely, since there's a good amount of black plastic bits on the car already (grilles, fog light shrouds, etc) HOWEVER...I'd reconsider if I do end up colormatching those pieces...

Leave the contrast. The black and silver set each other off. Look at my accord mirrors. It just looks cleaner, IMHO
