The intercooler is now hard mounted. Not too much left now.

  3. #183
Are you going to bolt the intercooler to something or is it going to just sit in that?

There is a top strap as well I put on today. But never took pictures.

This is also all temporary. Once I have the car broken in and all of the kinks fixed I am changing alot of little things.

Hopefully the vibrations won't erode a hole into the tanks. That Crap happens fast too

All the edges have been covered in rubber. I take vacuum line. Slice it down the middle and it folds over all sharp edges.

So a little incident happened. I had my friend pop the timing cover off to get a bolt that fell in there. He got the bolt out and I asked him to check around to make sure there was nothing else. Well he missed a nut which destroyed my timing on the first crank. Couple chunks and tears are all on the belt.

Sorry for the dim lit potato pic

    Big Update
Put a new timing belt on. Started the car. Drove it about 5 miles total so far. It needs to be tuned asap.

Been working on the car here and there. On the second revision of the tune, many more coming. Its needs an alignment bad and the rear fenders rolled tons more.

Current state of the interior. Getting a dash in the coming weeks so I can put my new headunit in. Exhaust, and random rattles gets real old to drive with.

I put leds in the dome lights and loved them for the minute it was in there.

Smoke poured out everywhere. Gotta love chine led junk.

New headunit and roller. One of these days ill get around to rolling the fenders getting it aligned and slammed back down.

As always it has been awhile. Got a bunch of parts in, broke some parts, ect.

But I am on the homestretch now to be in line to make it to h2oi.

Finished the battery box in the trunk

    120amp breaker

And my favorite mod to date. APR GT3 mirrors with carbon mounting plates made by me.

also shows my new front fenders Thanks again Anas!

Loomed up some of my wiring while the trans is out

Also bought a tig machine. I have a crack on my transmission to repair and an exhaust on this as well..

But as of now I am broke, and going into my last semster. So all of the parts I have been hoarding will be going on in the next month. Hopefully with a wrap job.
