It was just a relief when I started it and heard it idle normal after the ecu swap.

Next on the list is the following:

Install the aeromotive fuel pump with a relay

Eliminate the evo ecu conversion harness and wire the connectors straight go the car

    Redo my LICP

    New turbo feed line restrictor

Make a harness for the COP setup so it's removable in case I ever need to go back to regular coils.

    New battery.

Still need to get all that work done first and start tuning it. It's getting there.

    Haven't posted in a while.

Made a cleaner COP harness that will run under the intake manifold and hide the connectors. Looks much cleaner than electrical tape.

Also bought a set of bullet radiator brackets and installed them. And got rid of the plastic coolant overflow tank and converted my old catch can to an over tank.

Got the high pressure power steering hose custom made by techna-fit. It came out a bit too long. I measured it a bit longer so marked it and sent it back to get trimmed. Also gonna make my return line and reservoir line from braided hoses. Waiting on all the parts to come in still. The power steering reservoir will be relocated to the firewall to hide it away. Less clutter up front.

The high pressure hose is a -6AN and it has a 45 degree fitting for the rack clocked at 3 o'clock and a 90 degree fitting clocked at 6 o'clock for the pump.

Power steering rack has two different size fittings. I couldn't find this information anywhere. I assumed it was like the evo and thought that both low and high pressure were M16x1.5 but I found out that the high pressure is an M14x1.5 and the low pressure is M16x1.5

-10AN fitting will be welded on the pump side

Thanks Rudy. I really need to clean up the messy wiring a bit to get it where it's appealing. I think it's a bet messy. But I'll focus on that when I'm done everything else.

Good job troubleshooting, glad it worked out. Hopefully it's smooth sailing from here on. Sounds good too.

Thanks guys. I appreciate the kind words. I'm glad it's coming along to where I envisioned it to be. It's just taking a bit longer than I hoped.

Got the power steering reservoir relocated to the firewall. Used an evo reservoir since it has a large fitting for the pump so it fits the -10AN line better which is less chances of leaks.

Still waiting on my high pressure line to get here from techna-fit and waiting on the rubber insulated clamps to secure the line to the motor mount and away from the cam gears.

Nice and clean Spd.... Where's your camber cover? Don't you have the clear cover?

Not running an upper timing cover yet. Once I get the lower evo cover then I'll get the clear upper cover.

    Project Bodega Beige

The Evo cover won't fit over the sonata valve cover whether or not you have the Evo lower cover. If it does then it's news to me. But when I tried Evo covers the upper didn't fit

I'd rather have the knowledge and ability to do it than the money to buy it already done.

Roman has a clear evo cover on his and he has a sonata head. I'll ask him how he got it to fit.

Spoke with roman and he said the top two bolts line up to the valve cover but the bottom don't so he used zip ties. i guess there is a slight gap between the lower and the upper covers ?
