Doing some tuning this week at 14psi. This is a ballpark power graph.

    Going up to 22psi next.

22 psi is wheel spin category from a dig for the 8g. Start low and see what point you break loose too easily then adjust from there. Tire compound, air pressure and weight transfer play a big role.
    GL!!

We r gonna tune it for that high and then drop the boost down. So it's there if needed. Doubt I'm gonna run 22psi at the track honestly. Not without an LSD and some grippy tires at least.

Sourced a replacement cable and installed it.

    Here is where it broke

Now I need to route my alternator power cable to the trunk and mount a battery kill switch before Saturday morning.

Went to the local track Friday to get some launches before I head to Englishtown on Saturday to race. Got to Atco and I was leaking from the turbo return line. The bolt backed out from vibration. Spent two hours fixing it and only ran once after that. Ran 15.05 with a 99mph trap.

Saturday we drove to Englishtown and same thing happened. Spent two hours fixing it. This time we needed a gasket so we user a romantic novel cover and a longer bolt from my friends Volkswagen. Made it work and ran once and ran a 13.90

Went back today to the local track for IFO and there was a ton of hondas running. Didn't get there till late because I fixed the fitting. Replaced the two bolts with longer ones and use lock washers and made a new gasket and used rtv.
My push lock hose was leaking so I replaced it with a different hose and now it's leak free

Only ran twice today. B two bad runs. 15.4 and 16.3 I dropped the tire pressure and it made my launch worse. I just need know practice.

This is how she sits now

Threw the car on the scale with a good amount of tools in the trunk and It weighed 3175 and without the tools I came down to 3090 without me in it.

I can't wait till I get one but that won't be till next spring probably along with drag radials. But I will continue to tune for more power in the mean time.

    Time to relocate my gauges.

This is the old location. It was never finished and I hate the position.

I bought this universal 3 gauge pod and going to try to mold it on the A-pillar

Pulled the oil pan so I can reseal it since it's leaking. I found metal shavings on my oil. After further inspection I found that the center main bearing spun and the others are scored.

The car will be down all winter doing a rebuild slowly. I'm rebuilding a spare block with forged internals.

    Middle bearing

    End bearing

    Crank

Yes that was a stock bottom. I'm not entirely sure what caused it to do this though.

Yeah its just not time for it. I will slowly build the block over the winter and hopefully be ready by the spring.
