Finally got a Legit steering wheel for the VR4! It's a Momo Corse with a hard to find E39a VR4 specific hub to bolt it on. Big thanks to Mike Barda for selling it to me.

Got the new Momo steering wheel on! I like the way it feels compared to the old one I used to have.

Also got my Evo X Brembo's with KMV bolt on brackets in!! Can't wait to install these, first I gotta send them off to Justin At Detective Coatings to get them rebuilt and then powdercoated.

So this is what Samara looks like with 18X8.5 +38mm offset EVO X GSR wheels. A Lot would need to be adjusted to make these fit so I think I'll be going with either 7.5 or 8inch wide but I just need to figure out the offset I'll need in order to clear the EVO X Brembos. Thanks To Tony Fergeson for the test fitting.

Your current wheels won't clear the evo X brakes?

Nope they are not the right size. Evo X Brembo's are the biggest of all the previous EVO Brembos.

    I see.

Just asking cuz the way the car is now is just perfect, the 18s look too big.

The way the car is right now is still on 18's just not 8.5 wide.

Well guys, progress is happening, I asked around and someone locally has some EVO X GSR wheels without tires for 300 picked up, so I'm gonna pick those up this Sunday. Now I just gotta get the right tires, then have the fenders rolled then finally install my BC racing Coilovers and raise the height up a bit. Then send the brackets and calipers to Justin at Detective Coatings to have them rebuilt and powder coated.

Personally Id step down to the VIII/IX brembos and run 17s, they are just about the perfect size, curious to see how this all turns out.

EVO X wheels for the VR4 acquired, here are the before and after pics of the major cleaning of them I did today. Next will be new tires, still thinking of which brand I should go with.

Got my New Custom one off catch can setup for the VR4!! Made by Brad Harmer over at D3 Performance Engineering. Now I just gotta send my Valve cover to Justin at Detective Coatings to have the -10AN fittings welded on and get a fresh coat of Mirror Red powdercoat and get that new aluminum baffle option.
