    Back in the game.

    Hello everyone!

I'm not new by any means, but I've been gone for a looong time. About 3 years ago I almost hung it all up and moved to overseas, but life got something else in store for me. Instead I started a carrier that required me to work 60+ hours a week on the regular bases plus travel, so I had no time or energy to work on the Galant anymore whatsoever. Than about a month ago, driving to work, a lady most likely on a cellphone ran into me with full highway speeds, while I was waiting in line at an exit. The G got totally destroyed. I started to look for a new car, and move on. Yesterday I almost pulled the trigger on something, something very different, but I just couldn't do it. I test drove a heck of a lot faster and newer cars in the last month, but call me crazy, none of them felt right. So here I am again, looking for a "new" Galant, so I can move all my parts over, and slowly pick up where I left off 3 years ago. Looking forward to meet new people, and see the old ones again.

welcome back, weren't you selling a VRG front bumper? I'm guessing you're keeping the bumper now?

Thanks! I still have the VRG bumper, but will not be needing it. If you want it, let me know, it's ready to go. My Kouki bumper amazingly survived the crash.

Very tempting, I have something else planned with my tax refund. Sucks about your car, keep checking craigslist for a deal.

Sucks to hear about the accident. I hope you find another Galant soon though. Any ideas of what you potentially have planned for it?

Glad you're ok from the accident, and glad to see you still love the G. I'm the same, no matter what else I drive the G just fits.

Thanks guys. I still have the 75 on the engine stand, just need to finish it up. The trans is good (built 5MT), full suspension is intact. This time around I'll start a proper build thread, once I find a replacement.

I read this the other day, sucks to hear about the wreck. Welcome back! I do agree that I love driving the 8G, no other car feels right anymore.

Details on the 75? It'll be nice to see another one running around.

Thank You guys! I'm planning to keep the 75 mild for now with the basic boltons and some fun bits. But it will be some time before I get to this part, first I just want to find a straight 8g, swap the suspension, brakes and interior. Finding a half decent 8g with a V6 seems to be harder than I expected.
