What's up my name is Eric and I picked up a black 2001 gtz a few months ago, mainly have been fixing stuff the previous owner has neglected, this is my first Mitsubishi but not the first import I have owned, I did a few mods on a Honda Del Sol.

I have big plans for the car as I have always wanted to do a V6 Build, Much like the Del sol I am Focusing on the suspension system first along with braking and then will move onto bigger and better things like a 6g74/6g75 w/5speed, but saving for D2's as the passenger side shock is trashed ( neglected broken motor mount ) a few extra $$ to do it right the first time was my Grandpa's way and I'm not new to Coilover's and know what I'm sacrificing on ride comfort.

Welcome 2 TGC, I have D2s, still comfortable until you hit a nasty bump. When you swap the engine or 5 speed what ever comes first I recommend polyurethane mount inserts. I used Prothane inserts for the passenger and trans mounts; and Energy Suspension inserts for the front and rear mounts.
