Removing Front Rotors from 99 Galant

Hello, I want to remove the front rotors from my daughter's 99 Mitsubishi Galant and I found this post from some years ago with detailed pics, so I thought it would be easy, but the rotor will not budge. I tried some PB blaster around the studs and as much force with a rubber mallet as I was willing to use. Am I missing a detail somewhere?

Not really. As long as the caliper is off, just use a hammer around and tap the rotor till it breaks free. There also might be 2 threaded holes on the rotor, and that will allow you to thread 2 bolts in there and pop off the rotor, but I have never had good luck with that. I just use a 5 lb sledge and beat it till it breaks free lol

The bolts have always worked for me. But then again they have never really got stuck for me.

I had to use the bolts on my last brake job on the G, worked like a charm. Mini Sledge works too.
