I think thats the output shaft speed sensor. Theres another one under the base of the shift cable have a look
Hey Guys,
had a check engine light come on last week that caused my car to go into limp mode... pretty much. I don't think the trannys shot, it only had 60k miles on it so I wanted to change the input speed sensor. Pulled out air hose, and battery holder... thing, and found this on top of my tranny..
However the part that autozone gave me doesnt look anything near like what this sensor is, nor does the connector fit.
I checked with multiple sources, I think i have the right sensor, but not sure if I have the right location.

It'll be a black sensor and the wires connect vertically.
