Update, I decided to take it to a shop and let them take a look at it. When I turned the key "on" to put it in neutral, the green key light in the instrument cluster started flashing. Maybe the key just needs to be programmed?

That's the security light and likely means immobilizer issue

I have a 99 I put the 02 ecu to match the 02 eng and trans. car will crank no start. No spark and the ecu has this same code. Tried to use ECUFlash and deactivate immobolizer apparently not working properly. Anyone have any luck with ecuflash?

I thought I had posted an update, but I guess not. I took the car to the Mitsubishi dealer and they reflashed the computer and reprogrammed the key. All peachy now!
