starting issue
First time im posting, I have a 2002 v-6 3.0 galant that won't start. I nailed it down to a weak spark issue, because she cranks over fine just wont fire up. I tried spraying starting fluid, didn't start. I used a adjustable spark tester, and saw no spark, but would fire through a grounded spark plug. Checked the primary, measured around .6-.8 ohms on terminal 1 & 2 of dissy connector. The secondary measured 11.3k ohms measured from terminal 1 of dissy connector to high voltage terminal. So coil must be good, PCM at fault or bad power or ground?

I did try replacing with a new crank sensor without any luck. I'm using the 2001 manual and was working with this diagram https://drive.google.com/file/d/0BxC...84WWVFZHc/view, but i'm not sure if it is different than a 2002 diagram as only the 2001 model is available online. On connector c-40 there isn't even a wire at pin 43 when is was testing for an open wire to the pcm?

Performed this test with the dissy off car. (https://drive.google.com/file/d/0BxC...ew?usp=sharing). Measured .555v, looks like i need a new dissy.

FIXED!!! Bought a used distributor out of the junkyard from a 2000 Chrysler sebring for $50. I know, used distributor not a smart idea, but i wasn't confident enough to pay $220 for a new and not have it work. I believed the old one failed because of the oil leak behind the dissy from a bad o-ring gasket. The used one looked like it was leaking too, so i'm gona make sure i get a new o-ring gasket to prevent the used one from failing.
