Muffler Help 😣

I have a 2000 4cy ES. I went over a bump a while back and my muffler has been loud ever since. Is it possible for me to just take the old one off and swap it with a new one or do I need a whole new exhaust system. Thanks

Yes, it's bolt on, not welded on. I went with the Walker Quietflow muffler from rockauto and don't notice any difference in sound.

if its so rotted out that it fell apart when you hit a bump, most likely the studs/nuts are corroded as well. that is a tough job to do in a driveway on jack stands so my suggestion would be bring it to a muffler shop and get one welded in. should be more than $150 at a decent shop.
