Grill compatibility

Does anyone know if the Liberal grille from the 2000 Subaru Impreza will fit on my 00' G? The grill seems to be almost identical to the one made for the 8th gen. G. The only difference I see is where the hood latch opening is . If anyone has any info on the subject please let me know!

I would try to rivet it or use self tapping screws to screw it to the bumper. Then just cut out the plastic so the latch will fit. Id imagine youd have to shave the sides down for our headlights too.
