    I think I know what you're talking about, the length and bore of the pipes do make a difference in sound.

    im guessing ur tryna say move the muffler further in. and add a big tailpipe to it. well yea that would change the tone of the exhaust note but uhm, first of all, think about the size of the muffler, most mufflers are pretty big and if u move them pretty far back, ur gonna have problems with it scrraping on the ground. also, with bigger exhaust pipes not only do they get more expensive, the bigger sized ones are much harder to find
