well i had the black laid out 3 caot sanded and clean with rubbing alc after each the i spary on a clear coat and <span style='font-size:30pt;line-height:100%'>bammm</span><span style='font-size:19pt;line-height:100%'> wrinkles wut happened </span> so i gotta sand it and re do the last layer of black then start more clears but wut was it ?
I'd say you should use paint thinner (mineral oil) to clean everything first, looks like some oil was on the piece before you painted, I wouldnt use rubbing alc for this.

are you sure you let each layer have its designated time between layers? there is a selected time window that you must put the second and third etc, coats on. if not then the bottom layer might not cure right.
also are you sure that the clear coat and the paint itself are compatible.

hey dude did u use acrylic with laquer based or enamel based cuz that will wrinkle up paint for shure or did u get the wrinkle paint?
there both rust oleum "painters touch" gloss black and gloss clear i have been waiting over night for all the layers i dont kno wut happened im done sanding it down just layed the first coat of black agin so pray 4 me
also make sure that the paint is being sprayed and cured in the proper environment. things like temeprature humidty can all be a factor

make sure the chrome or paint of the grille originally is ALL sanded off,,,,for example if u spray ure fake woodgrain,,it will wrinkle up...even if u sand it a lil it will still wrinkle up.,.....u must take off the original paint totally off... try this on a section and ulle see it wont wrinkle up

I had this same problem as well when I did mine inner Wood Trim, on mines I noticed there was a thin layer of clear plastic and once that came out I had no problems lacquer thinner melts it and raised the thin plastic coat.
