First 30K maintenance

Hi,

I'm wondering what are the things to be done for the first 30K Kms? I'm sending my 8G for tune up this weekend.

Just to make sure that I wont be missing anything.

lets see.... oil change, air filter (if stock), replace PCV Valve, replace ECS Filter, front and rear transmission service, brake inspection, exaust check, check front and rear suspension. I belive thats all.

30k kms. thats a lil bit less than 20k miles.

nothing really major til you reach 50k kms.

oil and filter change thats a given
check the air filter
if your galant is a 99-01 check the cabin air filter
check the fluids
rotate the tires
check the driveshaft boots
check the brake hoses

no need to do a transmission service til you hit 50k kms. but do check the fluid levels. also if your tranny is acting up, you might want to get the fluid changed. if the tranny fluid is dark and discolored consider getting it changed.
