PS I know sabzi has been 150-155 in his 4g63t 5spd 7g 8)
wwhhaaaa? i've hit 130 on my 5spd, and it was 100rpm away from the red (6,000). how is this happening?

for one thing, the dsm ecu has a rev limit of something like 7000rpm plus we can run up to about 8000rpm on the stock dsm engine safely

p.s. i hope all you guys trying these top speed runs have tires rated for it

I hope allyou trying these top speed runs have deep pockets, and/or a great lawyer, in case "the pigs" give chase. Word of advice in case you already do not know. If you can get away, do just that. If you have any doubt... Stop! Also, if you do decide to try and run, and he's been behind you for over 5 min and hasn't caught you yet, he probably called backup or a copter, which means "your ass is in the slammer buddy".
Be careful everyone, we don't need to lose any more people for stupid reasons.

Rule of thumb: If you see red/blue flashing lights in your rear view(or any view) pull over, I dont want to die because you tried to get away, ran a red light and t-bone me...
7g for life!

I'm not sure the exact for the v6....I had it up to at least 125 a few nights ago with Maz, didn't seem like it was working too hard to get it up there. I took my ride on Chicagoland Speedway last year in a charity open track day for ALS, I'd say I was near 130-135 out of turn 3, but my speeedo does not go that high.

i hit 135 in my 2000, that is about the time the revlimiter kicked in, i was right next to my friends 3G GTS and the revlimiter kicked in right as we started go go up a slight increase in road,

Going north on Beach Blvd at like 2 in the morning I was alongside a late model Mustang GT, I could feel the fuel governer kicking in (2001 V6) but I don't know how fast I was going since the speedo doesn't go that high.
