I HAVE A 00 GALANT I JUST GOT MY WIND GUARD AND SUNROOF GUARD PAINTED THE SHOP COULDNT PAINT THE MUDS I HAD CAUSE THEY SAID IT HAD SOME TYPE OF CLEAR ON IT OR SOMTHING, HE SAID FOR ME TO GO ONLINE AND FIND A MATTED OR PAINTABLE MUD GUARDS SO HE COULD PAINT IT FOR ME, CAUSE THE COMPANIES HE DEAL WITH HAS THE REG 1 THAT CANT BE PAINTED AND IF U DO IT WILL PEAL OFF..........CAN SOME 1 GIVE ME # OR WHERE OR LINK. yes there are "roof wing scoops" ....we call them Sunguards here lol it's cool man....just hit up the Search feature, and you should find all the answers you need....gettin the sunguard....there are a few floatin around here for sale im sure....and as for the mudguards...i'd ask a mitsu dealer where they get them...and then check online for similar products...cause the dealer will probably charge a kidney....or two

Try the aftermarket one because like you said earlier it came with a clear protective film. The ones online usually comes without the film so painting it should be a problem.

First of all, you can paint anything. So, whoever is telling you this is an asshat. You may have to sand them down, prime, and then paint, but it can be done easily. And please, lose the ALL CAPS typing please, it's annoying.

If the mudguards you have are from the dealer, you can paint them. I painted the ones that I got from the dealer.

Yeah the previous dude is right. I have an 02 galant, gray color. I went to the store and bought some spraypaint and painted them. They look real good and match the car. But I am gonna warn you, it does peal if you use a high pressure car wash or anything like that. You have to be really precious with it. But when I see a spot pealing, I just grab the spraypaint and redo it. NO PROBLEM!!

have u tried autozone? thats where we got the ones for my sisters scion
